A truly enjoyable 3-days and thank you for passing-on your knowledge and techniques of your mixed-media approach to watercolour.  Many thanks for all your help and encouragement.

I found my day so helpful and inspirational. I feel quite empowered! Thank you for being so generous with your experience and expertise.

Thank you for your insight into watercolour painting and your patience with an absolute beginner. I feel I now have some knowledge and confidence to tackle watercolour on my own.

Firstly, a big thank you Peter for such an inspiring three days. I feel that we were properly challenged, in a good way. I certainly came away full of ideas and ready to move forward with “bigger” and hopefully better projects.  It was lovely to meet you all and create some art in such a beautiful setting. We all came in with such different levels of experience and it was fascinating to look around the room at everyone's interpretation of the tasks in hand. I certainly learned a lot from this. Last, but not least, a big thank you to Liz for the constant refreshments and the delicious lunches. It was such a luxury!  In all, it was a really fabulous three days, so thank you all again.

Spending three wonderful days in Pilton learning new techniques in watercolour painting, sharing interpretations of subjects, experiencing the effects of our paints on different papers, meeting lovely people, walks in the garden and being in a beautiful setting completely fulfilled my need to return to my art and drawing after months of lockdown inertia. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with you all. It will be good to keep in touch.

Thank you for your warm hospitality, encouraging tuition and generously sharing your experience. And many thanks to Lis for the attractively presented, perfect lunches plus a constant flow of tea refreshments.  With best wishes and much gratitude

Thank you for starting me off on my journey into the world of water colour. You taught us so much in a very short time which was a challenge and very inspiring all at the same time. I certainly now look at painting in a very different way!  It was lovely to walk around your garden and paint in your beautiful studio. Thank you Liz also for your amazing hospitality , you certainly fed us very well

Last of all thank you to the wonderful group of people on the course. We all gave each other lots of support & suggestions and laughter.

See you hopefully all soon

Thank you so much for a great three days!

The format of the three days worked really well - having two consecutive days with a weekend break before the third day. It was wonderful being in your lovely studio with all your fabulous resources and being in your home in such comfortable and inspiring surroundings. It really was quite magical and transported me out of the day to day and into a space that really encouraged my creativity to take the fore ground

It really felt like a very nurturing and inspiring retreat and was so wonderfully complemented by all the snacks and wonderful lunches provided by Lis  I have come away with a sense of knowing what I'm doing! which is great as I am a complete beginner, I feel I can quite confidently explore and experiment on my own now.  It also feels good to know that other possibilities of getting together again are in the pipe line

You are very encouraging, relaxed and clear in your teaching style which I enjoyed. Looking forward to more times together
